Our story

Flavors and Hospitality

The story begins in the spring of 1925. Nikolas, a restless young shepherd, “steals” his beloved, and together they arrive in Lykotroupi, Argolis (known today as Agios Antonios). There, they build their home and their life. Their entire world revolves around nature and their livestock. Their products make their way to the finest dairies of the time, in Chiliomodi and Kalavryta.

In 1976, their children—Sotiris and his three siblings—establish their own dairy, carrying forward the values and hard work of their parents, a legacy that continues to this day. The following year, they open a winery, and three years later, the four siblings set their sights on the sea. “Ammos”, their first hotel in Tolo, becomes a reality.

Honoring the family traditions of the two previous generations—and especially those of their father—Nikos and Diamantis take over the family dairy in 1989. In 2003, they create the “Amymone” hotel in Nafplio, followed by “Adianti” in 2007. Then, in 2017, Nafplio welcomes the “Amymone Suites.”

Fully devoted to the art of hospitality, and after two years of hard work, the time finally comes for the great-grandchildren to step into the story. With their own initiative, Sotiris and Panagiotis create a delightful surprise—”Wild Duck Eat & Drink,” a restaurant where a century of tradition meets modern hospitality, warm service, and creative culinary techniques.
